  1. If you want to give it a try before installing, simply run:
  2.  
  3. perl pdmenu.pl pdmenurc
  4.  
  5. To install Pdmenu, simply do a make install.
  6.  
  7. This will install files in the following places:
  8.  
  9.     /usr/local/bin/pdmenu
  10.     /etc/pdmenurc
  11.     /usr/local/man/man1/pdmenu.1
  12.     /usr/local/lib/pdmenu/* (color config files)
  13.  
  14. Please see the README and man page for more information about Pdmenu.

  17.     If you run RedHat Linux 2.x, I've packaged Pdmenu up in a nice RPM
  18.     for you. You'll find it on RedHat's ftp site, or in 
  19.     ftp://kite.ithaca.ny.us/prog/
